Fire damages eight-unit apartment complex in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Fire crews were called to the scene of a fully engulfed apartment fire in Mount Pleasant Tuesday night, December 25th.

Authorities say the eight-unit apartment complex on Frankie Place broke out in flames around 11:45 p.m.

Officials say everyone was able to exit the complex safely and no injuries were sustained as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
