Filmmaker George Tillman to be honored in his hometown

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- When the 5th annual Milwaukee Film Festival kicks off in Milwaukee this coming weekend, Milwaukee native and George Tillman will play a prominent role.

Tillman will show his movie, "Notorious," which profiled the rise of rapper Notorious BIG. He'll also show his newest release, "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete."

Tillman chatted with the Studio A team on Tuesday, September 24th via Skype.
