Fatal crash: 51-year-old man killed after vehicle strikes tree in Town of Eagle

TOWN OF EAGLE (WITI) -- A 51-year-old man from Dousman died Monday, June 16th as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident on County Highway N, just south of County Highway ZZ, in the Town of Eagle.

When crews arrived on scene, the male driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was seriously injured and trapped inside the vehicle.

Once the driver was extricated from the vehicle, he was transported to Aurora Hospital in Summit by Flight For Life for treatment.

The driver, a 51-year-old man from Dousman, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation indicates the vehicle was travelling northbound on County Highway N when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
