Dump truck tips over carrying full load of top soil

OZAUKEE (WITI) -- On Friday, September 12th, at 11:30 a.m. the Ozaukee Sheriff's Department responded to a one vehicle crash on Highway 57 Southbound, near the Town of Saukville.

The driver of a dump truck carrying a full load of top soil lost control of his vehicle, tipped on its side and spilled the topsoil onto the roadway. The driver was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Both southbound lanes and South 57 at Meadowlark Road was closed for cleanup and removal of the dump truck.



The driver of the truck is a 19-year-old man from Cascade. The dump truck is registered to a business out of Kewaskum. The crash is currently under investigation.
