DOT hosting public meeting to discuss WIS 60 project

WASHINGTON COUNTY (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region will be holding the first public information meeting to discuss improvements to WIS 60 (E. Sumner Street) from just east of Main Street (WIS 83) to 1,100’ west of Kettle Moraine Road on Tuesday, April 9th.

The meeting is scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hartford City Hall Community Room, 109 North Main Street, Hartford, WI. Please use the N. Johnson Street entrance.

The purpose of this meeting is to share current plans for the resurfacing of WIS 60 and to answer questions and address concerns regarding the project. The project aims to improve safety and roadway conditions along this segment of the highway. The project is scheduled to begin in 2015.

The meeting will be conducted in an open house format. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and provide input regarding the project. Maps illustrating the existing roadway condition, proposed improvements and right of way impacts will be on display for review and the project team will be available to provide information and answer questions.
