DNR looking to hire conservation wardens
MADISON (AP) -- The state Department of Natural Resources is looking to hire a new class of conservation wardens.
DNR Chief Warden Randy Stark says the agency is grappling with nearly 40 warden vacancies as veterans age out of the job.
The agency hopes to hire up to 15 wardens by March. Applicants must complete an online exam by 11:59 p.m. on July 27. They can take the test by creating a free account on the Wisc.Jobs website. More information on the application process is available on the DNR's website.
The DNR plans another round of hiring in 2014.
