Dick Van Dyke 'Steps in Time' in 'Mary Poppins' tribute

On Sunday night, ABC paid tribute to all things Disney with "The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60."

During the two hour event, a bunch of musical numbers were performed to truly showcase the impact on pop culture Walt Disney has had.

"Dancing With the Stars" personality Derek Hough took the stage in an updated performance of "Step in Time," the song made famous in the classic 1964 movie, "Mary Poppins."

Taking on the role of Bert the chimney sweep, Hough and his group of dancers linked their elbows and stepped in time with a flashy rendition of the beloved number.

To drive the routine home, Hough moved up-stage and opened two doors revealing the original Bert, 90-year-old Dick Van Dyke. The legendary actor, without missing a beat, linked his own elbows with the men on stage and kicked his knees up a few times to bring the performance to a close.

With a "Mary Poppins" sequel now in the works, one has to wonder if there will be any iconic scenes like this one below.
