Delafield police: Suspects get away with $5,000 worth of designer eyeglasses from Delafield Vision Center

DELAFIELD (WITI) -- Delafield police say 17 pairs of designer eyeglasses were stolen from the Delafield Vision Center on Golf Road on Wednesday, December 10th.

It happened shortly before 5:00 p.m.

Police say the eyeglasses have an approximate value of $5,000.

Police are offering a description of two suspects:

Suspect #1 is described as a black woman, wearing a knit winter cap, a black winter jacket, a white shirt and sports pants with a white stripe down the side. She identified herself as "Sherri Wilson," according to police.

Suspect #2 is described as a heavier-set black woman, with long black hair pulled into a pony tail. She was wearing a red knit headband around her ears, a red scarf, a dark-colored shirt, black "puffy" vest, dark-colored pants and red tennis shoes.

Police say the first suspect distracted the clerk while the second suspect removed and concealed the frames, with the first suspect also removing frames before leaving the store.
