CVS pledges to shorten its rather lengthy receipts

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Ever bought a pack of gum at CVS only to get a receipt three yards long? The pharmacy chain says it plans to shorten the receipts in the coming weeks.

CVS commented about this on its Facebook page after people gave the company a good ribbing on social media.

The super-long CVS receipts contain coupons for customers who have ExtraCare Savings and Rewards cards.
