Crash involving four vehicles shuts down 20th Street near Layton Wednesday afternoon

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were on the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles that occurred near 20th and Layton on Wednesday afternoon, June 18th.

A Milwaukee police sergeant says a semi-truck, what he believes is a Milwaukee County bus, and two other vehicles collided.

The crash was called in just after 2:30 p.m.

Police say only minor injuries have been reported so far. It is unclear how many people were injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The southbound lanes of 20th Street near Layton Avenue were shut down around 3:00 p.m., but were reopened to traffic around 3:45 p.m.
