Child starts house fire in home on Milwaukee's northwest side

MILWAUKEE -- A child is responsible for starting a house fire inside a home near N. 34th and Clarke in Milwaukee.

The incident happened on Sunday, September 20th.

Authorities say a child was playing with matches or some sort of lighter and caused the fire.

No one was injured, although a firefighter did receive minor injuries from glass.

Four people were displaced due to this incident and an estimated $67,000 worth of damage has been done to the structure of the home.

Officials have not released any more information at this time.
