Charged: 18-year-old Waterford man found on roof of school makes first court appearance

RACINE COUNTY -- The 18-year-old man that was found on an elementary school roof in Waterford has been charged. Daniel Miskelley of Waterford was charged on Wednesday, September 16th with four counts, including possession of a firearm and disorderly conduct.

Tuesday morning, September 15th police say Miskelley was spotted on the roof of Woodfield Elementary School.

Authorities determined Miskelley was not a threat to the students or staff of the school. Miskelley said he was retrieving a ball from the roof. However, after investigating further officials located three unloaded firearms in the trunk of Miskelley's car which was parked on school property.

Miskelley was taken to the Racine County Jail and on Wednesday, he made his initial appearance in court and was charged with four counts: Three counts of possession of a firearm on grounds of a school, and one count of disorderly conduct.
