Can you IMAGINE?! Texas mother finds 12-foot PYTHON in her bathroom!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Texas mother heard strange sounds in the middle of the night -- and when she walked into her bathroom -- she discovered a 12-foot-long African python!

According to The Eagle newspaper in Bryan-College Station, Texas, Veronica Rodriguez went to flip on the light in her bathroom and discovered the African python crawling into her bathtub!

The Eagle reports that it is most likely that the snake made entry into the woman's home through the back door -- but exactly WHEN the snake came into her home is an uncomfortable unknown!

The Eagle says Veronica Rodriguez decided to give her three guinea pigs a bath -- and after bathing each one, she would let it outside to let it run in a penned area while she cleaned the cage.

She tells The Eagle the back door was open for about 2-3 minutes each time she would come out to her fenced yard with a new guinea pig.

Before it was dark out, she and the pets were back inside -- and that's when she tells The Eagle she started hearing noises!

Then, she flipped the light switch in the bathroom.

Veronica Rodriguez says the first police officer to arrive on scene had a brown paper sack with him.

Rodriguez tells The Eagle: "I told him 'you're going to need a bigger sack than that!"
