Can you help a family find justice? Police seek suspect in murder of man who ran Big C's Blues Lounge

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are trying to solve a case involving a bar owner who was shot and killed last month near 12th and Hadley.

On May 11th, friends and loved ones said goodbye to the man who ran Big C's Blues Lounge. 47-year-old Herman Page was shot and killed shortly after closing time.

"Seems like he was a very loved man -- a very respected man," Milwaukee Police Detective Nick Johnson said.

Johnson says after the murder was committed, they identified 29-year-old Dwayne Jobe as the man who pulled the trigger.

Jobe apparently got kicked out of the lounge.

"Jobe made the statement that 'I got something for you,' and runs to his car," Johnson said.

Jobe would return with a gun, and the will to use it.

"Actually enters the back door of the bar. After he enters the back door, he starts shooting. About five times -- starts shooting at patrons, starts shooting at the bar," Johnson said.

Johnson says after firing about eight shots -- Jobe vanished.

"Just unknown where he went," Johnson said.

Jobe may be out of state, but police are convinced someone in Milwaukee knows something that can help catch a killer.

This, as Herman Page's family hopes and prays for justice.

"Please turn him in, so that way we can get some closure for this case," Johnson said.
