Bucks 2011-12 season schedule released

MILWAUKEE -- Basketball fans and businesses around the Bradley Center rejoiced Tuesday night, as the Bucks NBA schedule was officially released! Now, we know exactly when and whom the Bucks will play during their 66 game season.

The Milwaukee Bucks will have 33 home games this season, meaning there's 33 chances for bars and other businesses near the Bradley Center to capitalize on more foot traffic. The Bucks will open at Charlotte and take on the Bobcats on December 26th. Their first home game is December 27th versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The NBA lockout began on July 1, and lasted through December 1. A tentative deal was reached between the league and the players after 15 hours of talks on November 26, and the National Basketball Players Association reformed officially on December 1, receiving support from over 300 players.

Business owners and fans alike say they're just glad to have a season after the drawn out NBA lockout. "We're really excited. We hope we get a few home games here, especially with the Bulls. It always draws a crowd. I'm just excited they're back and can't wait to be over there myself and watch some games," one business owner said.
