Brewers fans shop at team's 33nd annual Clubhouse Sale

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It's a day some Milwaukee Brewers fans wait all year for- Friday was the start of the 33rd annual Clubhouse Sale.

It was held in the visiting clubhouse. Doors opened at 8 a.m., but some people started waiting in line hours before.  Discounts up to 75 percent were promised on t-shirts, hats, and souvenirs. But that wasn't the only reason eager fans bared the cold and the crowds. The sale gives fans a chance to see inside the visiting locker room, as well as view and purchase some rare items like bats, balls and jerseys that have actually been worn or used in a game.

The sale has become a tradition for some fans.

“My friends Brian and Judy and I have been coming about 4 or 5 years now,” said Lynn Miller, “It's fun. It’s something for us to do together and there are good deals!”

“These are Wisconsin fans,” said Miles Beuske, “We live and die with the team but we are always going to support them.”

It's a two-day sale--- Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
