Brainstorming ideas for the Shops of Grand Ave.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Shops of Grand Ave. are the subject of a new series of reports in the Milwaukee Business Journal. The reason -- people are starting to brainstorm the future of the downtown mall.

Reporter Stacy Vogel Davis' work involves a range of suggestions for the mall including everything from an indoor beer garden to incubators for aspiring restauranteurs and filmmakers.

For now, the current ownership, Bank of America, is allowing something of a shift in tenancy to continue developing.

"They've got a barbershop that just opened there, a couple weeks ago, and you've got True Skool, that's celebrating their grand-opening, tonight, and there's a couple more stores that are opening, in  February, so there is some change there," said Vogel Davis.
