Boerner Botanical Gardens offers free admission to Milwaukee County residents

MILWAUKEE -- Beginning June 7th Boerner Botanical Gardens will offer free admission to Milwaukee County residents on the first Tuesday of every month.

"Free First Tuesdays at The Gardens" will be offered beginning in June and running through September. The offer is good for all Milwaukee County residents with proof of residency. Offer excludes major holidays and celebrations of major holidays.

"First Tuesdays at The Gardens" aims to encourage Milwaukee County residents to explore, free of charge, "Milwaukee County's Living Museum."

The Boerner Botanical Gardens is an internationally renowned horticultural showplace in the Milwaukee County Parks. It offers gardeners, plant lovers and students the opportunity to take in the colors and scents of a variety of collections.

The Botanical Gardens is located at 9400 Boerner Drive, Hales Corners.
