Body pulled from Milwaukee River near Water and Erie Streets

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department Dive Team has pulled a body from the Milwaukee River near the intersection of Water and Erie St. The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, September 6th.

A boater on the Milwaukee River notified the Milwaukee Fire Department of the person in the water.

Officials say the body pulled from the river is that of a man. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
