Body of missing woman found in Racine County park

RACINE CO. -- Family and friends found the body of 51-year-old Annette Maki on Tuesday, January 1st. She had been reported missing on Sunday, December 30th. 

Maki's body was found in Wadewitz Park in Racine County just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Investigators say they are considering this case a death investigation. They do not suspect foul play.

There were indications that Maki was despondent. She reportedly had a history of feeling suicidal. Her car was found in a nearby industrial park on Monday during an extensive search.

Maki's son says his mother was a good woman. He told FOX6 News had a "feeling" that she was at the park.
