Blair LaRose sentenced to 16 years in prison on drug, endangering safety charges

RACINE COUNTY (WITI) -- A Racine County judge sentenced 33-year-old Blair LaRose to 16 years in prison and another nine years of extended supervision after he was found guilty on drug and  endangering safety charges.

LaRose originally faced eight criminal counts. But four were dismissed. LaRose pleaded either guilty or no contest in October to the following charges: manufacture/deliver heroin and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

LaRose and 26-year-old Ashley Fay were accused of selling heroin to an undercover agent on three different occasions. Twice, the couple’s kids were present. Once, officials say LaRose allegedly offered to leave a kid as collateral until he could come back with more heroin.
