"Beyond speechless:" Paralyzed from the chest down, former motocross racer touched by act of kindness

BROOKFIELD -- A random act of kindness in Brookfield warmed the heart of a man FOX6 News has profiled several times.

A stranger left a note on Matt Maier's vehicle, parked outside a restaurant in Brookfield. Along with the note, the stranger left him $20 for lunch.

Maier is paralyzed from the chest down, after a motocross accident in 2014.

The stranger saw Maier getting out of his car, and into his wheelchair. The stranger wrote that he has a son at Children's Hospital, and that he was inspired by Maier's "fight and determination."
