Benefit fund established for victims of Azana Salon & Spa shooting

BROOKFIELD -- A benefit fund has been set up for the victims of the Azana Salon & Spa shooting Sunday, October 21st.

Three were killed and four were injured when 45-year-old Radcliffe Haughton entered the salon early Sunday afternoon and started shooting, while also using flammable liquid to fuel a fire.

Those killed include Haughton's ex-wife, Zina Haughton, Cary Robuck of Racine and Maelyn Lind of Oconomowoc.

The identities of those injured have not yet been released. They are all females -- ages 22, 30, 32 and 40.

Two of these gunshot victims underwent surgery Sunday. One had an emergency operation Sunday afternoon and is listed in critical condition. Another had a short operation Sunday afternoon, and is listed in satisfactory condition.

A third patient was expected to have surgery later Sunday, and is listed in satisfactory condition.

A fourth patient did not require surgery and is listed in satisfactory condition.

Haughton was later found dead inside the salon of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. However, for much of the afternoon, authorities suspected Haughton was on the loose.

Donations to benefit the Azana Salon & Spa victims can be made at any Associated Bank branch, or mailed to 1 N. Moorland Road, Brookfield, WI 53005.
