Will gas prices continue to climb or stay steady?

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- It's felt great filling up for less than $3 a gallon the last few months, but recent weeks saw a bit of an increase in price. So will the good times last as we head into spring and summer, or will we be forking out a little more at the pump?

"It`s pretty good compared to last year, can`t complain," said Leslie Williams while stopped at a gas station in Brown Deer.

Williams finds she is saving money at the pump, with prices at their lowest in about five years.
"It costs about $30,  $35 so that`s a good thing compared to last year it was almost $45, $50 dollars to fill," she said.

In the Milwaukee area, a gallon of regular unleaded is hovering right around $2.28.Prices bottomed out below $2 in January, so AAA says we are up about 40 cents higher than this time last month.
