Beer barons converge at Lakefront Brewery for third annual Milwaukee Beer Summit
MILWAUKEE -- Leading craft brewers from across the U.S. gathered at Lakefront Brewery on Thursday, May 19th for the third annual Milwaukee Beer Summit.
The annual summit brings brewers together to discuss industry trends and product plans with regional retailers, as well as show off new products.

"People love trying all the new styles of beer that have come out. In general, the popularity of craft beer has created an excitement throughout the whole industry. It is a good part of the business. People appreciate it, it's like a good meal, people are willing to pay for it because they know the quality is there," said David Neville, vice president of sales.
Samples of beer from more than 20 craft breweries were featured at the event, as well as a panel discussion with industry luminaries including Tom Cardella, John Leinenkugel and Russ Klisch.
