Bail reduction denied for teen in high-speed chase case

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A teen who took police on a high-speed chase over four counties appeared in Waukesha County court Thursday, May 24th.

17-year-old Dvarion Beamon is charged with fleeing an officer in Waukesha County.

Police say Beamon was the driver of a minivan that took police on a high-speed chase that started in Menomonee Falls and ended in Kenosha.

Thursday, Beamon's lawyer asked the judge that he either be allowed to have a signature bond, or have his bail reduced.

The judge in the case denied that request, and left Beamon's bail at $1,500.

Beamon is also charged in Milwaukee County with stealing a vehicle, and fleeing police.
