All aboard! Amtrak's Hiawatha Service now includes late Saturday night trips
MILWAUKEE -- Amtrak is expanding its service on the Milwaukee to Chicago Hiawatha Service to include a late trip on Saturday nights.
Late night trips between the two cities will be offered from May 21st through September 3rd. The last train departing from Chicago will be at 11:10 p.m. -- and the last train departing from Milwaukee will be at 10:40 p.m.
Amtrak Hiawatha Service trains are jointly sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Illinois Department of Transportation. About 800,000 passengers rode in the last year, including intermediate stops at Glenview, Ill., and in Wisconsin at Sturtevant and Milwaukee Airport.
