A very special announcement for Country music queen Carrie Underwood on "Labor" Day!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Country superstar and winner of American Idol Season 4 made a very important announcement on Labor Day!

31-year-old Underwood took to Twitter -- and with the help of her pups, Ace and Penny, announced she is pregnant!

Underwood's husband, Mike Fisher confirmed on his Twitter account that they are expecting a baby.

Underwoods most recent album, "Blown Away" was released in 2012.

She most recently appeared as Maria Rainir/von Trapp in NBC's The Sound of Music Live!
