5 crashes in Milwaukee's Mitchell Interchange, drivers urged to slow down



MILWAUKEE -- Wet conditions on the roads are apparently creating slippery conditions for drivers in parts of southeast Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reports in a tweet that there were five crashes in the Mitchell Interchange on Saturday morning, October 1st. Officials are urging drivers to slow down.

This same interchange was the scene of a wreck involving a semi that was hauling 46,000 pounds of stone. It crashed heading southbound through the Mitchell Interchange on Friday morning. That wreck shut down multiple lanes in the interchange for hours.
