40-year-old woman struck by train in Waukesha; in serious condition

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- Waukesha Police and Waukesha Fire Department personnel responded to a pedestrian vs. train accident reported at the intersection of Whiterock Ave.and Perkins Ave. Monday, August 5th.

Upon arrival, a 40-year-old woman was found lying next to the railroad tracks. This victim was medically assessed by police and paramedics and was immediately transported to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life.

Her condition is serious.

All Waukesha roadways have resumed normal traffic.
