36-year-old Milwaukee man killed in rollover crash on I-43

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials say a 36-year-old Milwaukee man was killed in a rollover crash on I-43 southbound near W. North Ave.

It happened Sunday morning, August 25th around 1:30 a.m.

Sheriff's officials responding to the scene came upon a Chevy Suburban in the grassy area off the freeway and the vehicle's operator in the grass and unresponsive.

Clarence McCormick of Milwaukee was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of his two male passengers, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with injuries.

The Sheriff's Office is conducting the crash investigation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
