32-year-old man taken to hospital by Flight for Life after he was hit by car on I-94

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- The eastbound lanes of I-94 were temporarily closed at County T in Waukesha County Wednesday, May 25th after a vehicle struck a pedestrian there.

It happened around 5:50 p.m.

Officials with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department say a 32-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life.

An investigation has revealed he was walking outside his vehicle when he was struck by a vehicle headed east.

Witnesses on scene immediately rendered aid until the arrival of emergency personnel.

Eastbound I-94 was closed at Grandview Boulevard and eastbound US 16 was closed at Main Street for approximately one-and-a-half hours.

The crash is still being investigated by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
