23,533 test positive for COVID-19 in Wisconsin; 714 deaths, 17K+ recovered
MILWAUKEE -- According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and local health agencies, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across Wisconsin reached 23,533 on Wednesday, June 17. There have been 714 deaths statewide. More than 423,000 people have tested negative for the virus.

The Milwaukee County COVID-19 dashboard showed 9,828 cases and 324 deaths from COVID-19 in the county as of Wednesday afternoon. However, the Wisconsin DHS reported 356 deaths in the county.

The latest update from the DHS shows the number of patients who have recovered from the coronavirus stands at approximately 17,613 — or about 75% of total cases.
