22-year-old woman arrested after sergeant dragged by vehicle

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken into custody Tuesday night, April 2nd after a Milwaukee Police sergeant was dragged by a vehicle.
According to officials, police were investigating a complaint in the 5800 block of W. Villard Avenue around 6:30 p.m.
During the investigating, a sergeant was dragged by a vehicle from a parking lot on to W. Villard Ave.
While in the street, the sergeant was able to roll away from the vehicle -- which fled the scene.
After a pursuit, the 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody.
The sergeant was treated and released from the hospital and is expected to fully recover.
