17-year-old boy shot, injured near 52nd and North

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say a 17-year-old boy was shot Monday afternoon, August 19th near 52nd and North.

Police say the 17-year-old should survive his injuries.

The shooting occurred around 3:40 p.m. Monday. Police believe the boy was shot while standing at a bus stop.

Police do not have any suspects in custody -- but say they believe the suspect and victim knew one another.
