TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS (WITI) -- A 17-year-old boy was badly hurt in a farm accident on Sunday, March 1st.
It happened on Sumac Road in the Town of Sheboygan Falls shortly before 5:00 p.m.
Sheboygan County Sheriff's officials say they received a request for medical assistance regarding a 17-year-old who had gotten caught in a piece of farm machinery. The boy was apparently working on an auger in a silo when he got caught in the equipment.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, along with the Wisconsin State Patrol, Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders, City of Sheboygan Fall Fire Department, Cedar Grove Fire Department, Orange Cross Ambulance, and Flight for Life responded.
The boy was extricated from the machinery in the silo and he was taken to Children's Hospital via Flight for Life.
