16-year-old boy stabs 5 students, then himself at Utah high school



OREM, Utah – A 16-year-old boy stabbed five students before stabbing himself at Orem’s Mountain View High School, according to the Alpine School District.

The victims range from fair to critical condition; one student is critical, one is serious and three are in fair condition.

The victims were stabbed in the neck and upper torso.

School officials said the stabbing happened in the boys’ locker room before 8 a.m.



A school resource officer had to Taze the suspect to take him into custody.

Classes will resume as normal, however, parents can pick up students in the north lobby by the auditorium.
