What's it like to be a dairy farmer in Wisconsin? Chip finds out at Cozy Nook Farm

(WITI) -- Chip hangs at Cozy Nook Farm, which is primarily a working dairy farm with 65 cows, mostly registered Brown Swiss and Guernseys. According to their website, their milk is shipped to Swiss Valley Farm where it is made into cheese. Their Fall Market opens the end of  September with a wide variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds. Toward the end of November, we sell Christmas trees, wreaths and garland. Educational farm tours are offered from spring to fall by appointment.

Cozy Nook Farm was established by the Wendt family in 1834 near the present day Goerkes Corners. In 1957, the land was purchased by the state to build I-94 and the move was made to its current location near Delafield, Wisconsin. The farm was operated by Jim and Kathy Wendt who are Joan's parents.
