Waukesha County Museum to celebrate 100th anniversary, 100th birthday of Les Paul



WAUKESHA -- One hundred years and still rocking. The Waukesha County Museum will celebrate its 100th anniversary along with the 100th birthday of legendary musician and inventor Les Paul. The centennial milestones will be observed with a community birthday party and concert.

Celebrate Les Paul like never before at the WCM. Les Paul’s birthday celebration will take place Tuesday, June 9. Attendees will experience all current museum exhibits, including the original Les Paul: The Wizard of Waukesha exhibit, before they are redesigned and moved to a new location. Tickets for the party cost $50 and include light hors d’oeuvers, a silent auction and a cash bar. The silent auction will feature Les Paul autographed memorabilia and a Fireside Dinner Theatre package. Patrons will enjoy dancing to the classic and contemporary soul music of Kelly and the Soulmates. The event is open to the public and begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at Eventbrite.
