According to their website, On April Fools Day, 1985, Art Smarts Dart Mart & Juggling Emporium opened its doors on the corner of Humboldt Ave. and Brady St. in the heart of Milwaukee's ever-bustling east side. In this diverse and eclectic neighborhood, Art Smart's quickly became an institution, and was called a "Sure Thing" in a Milwaukee Magazine article featuring local establishments.
