(WITI) -- Are you looking for easy and healthy recipes that won't take too much time? Then the slow cooker is the answer. Tony Becker from Privato Personal Fitness with some ideas.

 Chicken and salsa

Put 3-6 chicken breasts in a slow cooker and cover them with your favorite salsa.

Let them cook on low for 4-6 hours, then pull apart and let them cook for another 30 minutes.

Pesto turkey meatballs with red peppers and goat cheese

Take 2 packages of ground turkey,

2 Tbsp pesto sauce, 1 cup chopped red peppers, and one 5-6 oz package of goat cheese.  Adding an egg is optional, but does help with holding it all together.  Mix everything in a bowl, roll into balls, and place in a slow cooker.  Cook on high for 2 hours.

Stuffed Peppers (meat or vegetarian)

Cut off tops of 4 peppers and clean out the inside.  Place them in slow cooker.  Boil some quinoa, mix it with 1 can black beans, 1 diced tomato, 1-2 diced turkey sausages.  Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and scoop into the peppers.  Add small amount of cheese if desired (It's Wisconsin).  Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
