FOX6's Julie Collins gets up close and personal with snake, tarantula and more at "Repticon"

WAUKESHA -- The Waukesha County Expo Center's 4H building on Sunday, April 17th was filled with reptiles, during the "Repticon" event.

According to its website, "Repticon" is the national leader in producing reptile and exotic pet shows throughout the United States.

For more than 10 years, Repticon has been bringing thousands of reptiles and exotic pets from the top breeders and educators to cities throughout the country.

The event offered the opportunity for people to learn more about reptiles and amphibians -- and take a look at these animals up close and personal.

Those looking to add a family member had the opportunity to buy reptiles and exotic pets directly from the experts, and get advice directly from breeders.

During the event, there were live animal encounters and seminars every hour.
