FORT GRATIOT, Mich. -- When she was insulted by two women behind her in line at Tim Hortons, a Michigan mom took the high road -- and now her good deed has gone viral.

WXYZ reports that Dianne Hoffmeyer was in the restaurant with her 22-month-old baby waiting to get the child donut holes and coffee for herself.

She said that two women behind her in line started talking about her hair, saying it was "nasty looking" with the "roots coming through." She said they also described her as a "whale," saying "Oh, the whale needs to eat."

What they didn't know was that Hoffmeyer had just lost 177 pounds, so the women's comments reduced her to tears.

So she told the cashier she wanted to pay for their coffee.

She then left the restaurant, got into her car and cried. After posting her story on Facebook, her good deed instantly went viral.
