MILWAUKEE -- U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez will travel to Milwaukee on Thursday, November 19th to meet with workers and advocates of the “Fight for 15” movement.
Secretary Perez will join organizers from Wisconsin Jobs Now! along with fast food, retail and home care workers in a round-table discussion highlighting how Fight for 15 shows the importance of workers coming together to have and express their voice in the workplace.
Fight for 15 is a national movement of fast food workers and their supporters aimed at raising the wage of fast food workers.
