Barn fire in the Town of Paris

TOWN OF PARIS (WITI) -- Fired destroyed a barn in the Town of Paris on Saturday afternoon, March 21st.

Investigators with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department say it's believed the fire was started while the owner was burning a pile of leaves. It appears burning debris in a spring cleanup sparked the fire. It is being called accidental.

The fire went to three alarms -- and more than a dozen communities helped douse the flames.

There were no injuries and no animals lost in this fire. Equipment inside the barn was destroyed.

Authorities have yet to determine the estimated value of barn lost to the fire.
