ST. FRANCIS (WITI) -- St. Francis police hope you can help them identify a suspect who burglarized the Bangkok House Restaurant in the Whitnall Square Shopping Mall on Saturday, December 27th.
Police say they believe the suspect entered the restaurant through a rear service door around 11:30 p.m. -- after the owners locked up and left for the night. The suspect apparently used a key to enter the building -- as there was no damage or evidence of tampering of the door locks.
The suspect first took a flat-screen television, a DVD player, two cash registers and various bottles of liquor. Police say after leaving, the suspect came back and stole framed art off the dining room wall. He also took assorted other items.
Police say the suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, with a medium build, goatee and buzz-cut hair style. He has several tattoos on both hands, arms, back of neck and possibly under his left eye. The suspect was wearing a white, zippered jacket with hood, a printed t-shirt, white tennis shoes and blue jeans.
