RACINE CO. (WITI) -- A 30-year-old Racine woman was arrested early Friday morning, October 4th for driving the wrong way on I-94 in Racine and Kenosha Counties.
According to police, Tara Kennedy was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-94. Police say the vehicle was first spotted in Kenosha County near County Highway E around 2:21 a.m. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle just north of State Highway 11.
Kennedy was arrested and held at the Racine County Jail on the following charges: operating while under the influence of intoxicant (3rd offense), endangering safety of person by reckless driving, and wrong-way on divided highway.
