Police: Woman wounded by gunfire after argument on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 32-year-old woman was wounded by gunfire near the intersection of 27th and Chambers on Friday evening, July 29th.

Officials say shortly before 9:00 p.m., two groups of people were arguing over an incident that occurred earlier in the day. At one point, gunshots were exchanged between the two groups. That is when the 32-year-old woman was hit by gunfire.

The woman was taken to a hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department and is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot injury.



Police do not have any suspects in custody.
