Police arrest four in connection with armed robbery Saturday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery and attempted armed robbery that occurred on Saturday evening, October 26th.

It happened in the 2500 block of N. Booth Street, and in the 2800 block of N. Bremen between 6:30 and 6:56 p.m.

According to police, a description was broadcast of the involved suspects.

Shortly thereafter, a police sergeant with the Neighborhood Task Force observed a vehicle driving slowly in an alley in the vicinity of the robberies.  He observed two suspects who matched the descriptions provided by the victims, enter that vehicle.  He conducted a traffic stop and observed property taken from one of the victims along with the weapons used in the robberies inside the vehicle.

Arrested in these offenses are 16, 17, 18, and 20-year-old males.

During an interrogation, one of the actors confessed to being involved in the robberies, according to police.

The investigation continues with interrogations of the remaining suspects.
