MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night, August 11th near 35th and Auer.
Police say a 26-year-old man was shot around 8:00 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that numerous gunshots were fired and the victim was shot at least once. The 26-year-old male victim sustained a serious gunshot injury. He is expected to survive.
Officials say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this point. The victim was taken to a local hospital by a family member.
Police continue to seek a suspect in the shooting.
